less than fewer than区别是什么

less than修饰不可数名词，fewer than修饰可数名词，均表示“少于”。但是，如果复数可数名词不强调其一一可数，而是表示一个整体单位，一段时间或一段距离，指的是度量，则要用less than,因为度量是一个不可数的抽象概念。

1、与具体人 / 物连用时，多用fewer than, 在非正式语体中也可用less than。如：

2、在与表示时间 / 距离 / 金额的计量名词(days/ hours/ miles/ dollars)连用时，要用less than+ 数词 + 计量名词结构：
